Adriana Pierce (she/her) is an NYC-based dancer, choreographer, and director with training from the School of American Ballet. She started dancing with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet, and has done work on Broadway, film, and TV (2018 Broadway Revival of Carousel, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, Fosse/Verdon). She currently serves as Associate Director/Choreographer for Justin Peck's Tony Award-winning Broadway show, "Illinoise."
Queer the Ballet (QTB) is an initiative that began out of sensing a lack of representation of the lesbian community, with the mission of widening classical ballet repertoire by including queer voices in context. Her work with QTB has been featured in numerous big media platforms, such as the New York Times, The New Yorker, NBC OUT, The Guardian, and more.
