Vendor Self Service (VSS)
In May of 2016 all Conservation Districts were emailed the following message (with their specific information attached):
In the near future there will be some changes to many of the State Grant processes. While we are still waiting to determine what/how the impact is for our Conservation Districts, there is one step that we can get started now. Each Conservation District should register their Conservation District entity-based email with the Vendor Self Service (VSS). If you have already fully registered your Conservation District with your personal government email (firstname.lastname@co.nacdnet.net for example), please modify your Conservation District's record to your Conservation District's entity-based email instead.
There are several reasons to take care of this now:
Your Conservation District will be notified whenever there is an EFT payment from the State, along with a short description of what it is (extremely helpful if you participate in DCT, matching grants, direct assistance, Salinity, etc.).
Should you ever need to change your banking or address information, you can do so directly through VSS (please be sure to let us know as well!).
You will be ready for any future changes and be somewhat familiar with the VSS system.
If you receive grants from multiple state agencies, this will allow you to clarify details faster (see #1).
Attached is the Self Help Guide, your Conservation District is already registered in the system (so do NOT try to create a brand new account - you may not receive payments if you do so).
Your current Conservation District Vendor Customer ID is: VC************
You must enter the entire code above to ensure accuracy.
