We understand that becoming a Colorado Conservation District Board Supervisor involves a lot of responsibilities, from understanding District operations to representing landowner interests as an elected official. To help you navigate this role, we've developed an online and self-paced training program.
This training covers the history of the conservation movement, your responsibilities as a Board Supervisor, how Conservation Districts operate, and much more. Upon completing the training, individual Board Supervisors will receive a pin. If an entire board completes and passes the training, the entire board will receive a Conservation Leader Vest.
Let's get started.
The training consists of 17 modules. Each module will have a PowerPoint with important information to help you learn more about Conservation Districts in Colorado, and a short quiz to follow. Each individual interested in taking the training will have to create an account.
