2026 Emergency Management Grant
The Colorado State Conservation Board approved the use of a limited amount from their general funds dedicated to an Emergency Management grant. Conservation districts affected by or currently experiencing a natural disaster in their community are eligible to apply for this funding opportunity. This emergency management grant opportunity is for conservation districts that are in need of administrative dollars to help recover from natural disasters.
All Conservation Districts that are affected by/or going through a natural disaster are eligible to apply.
Maximum amount: $2,500
Staffing & Coordination: These dollars are intended to help with overtime hours spent in emergency meetings with producers, County Commissioners, and Emergency Coordinators.
Equipment Clause: While primarily for administration, up to 10% of the total requested amount may be used for the urgent purchase of emergency equipment (e.g., radios, field safety gear)
