Visit from BGS Beatz

Over the last 6 weeks, 3 teachers from Bury Grammar School Music Department have been working with year 5 and year 6 to develop their rhythm and percussion skills. This week was their final week and as a treat, BGS Beatz (Samba Band) came with their teachers to help them with their final performance. It sounded fantastic, we could hear the drums all over the school. We have recorded the performances so keep an eye out on the year 5 and year 6 class pages for the videos. We would love to continue this link with Bury Grammar School next year as the children and staff have found the project very enjoyable.
