Year 1

Year 1 children learn about Adaptability as they moved across the hall using different parts of their body to move on.

Year 2

Year 2 children learnt about adaptability by thinking about the different skills they need to use for the different activities they do in class.

Year 3

Year 3 children made towers out of straws. They had to adapt their plans as all the children moved round and they had to complete a tower that someone else had already started.

Year 4

Year 4 children thought about Charles Darwin and how animals adapt to suit their environment.

Year 5

Year 5 children read a story about a spring which used to live in a pen. It managed to get out of the pen and it had to adapt to be able to live in the real world.

Year 6

Year 6 children worked with Commando Joe and played various games. They thought about how they had to adapt their skills to be able to play each game.
