School Council and Values Committee Visit Bury Mayor

 Here are a few photos from our visit to meet the Mayor. It was the Mayor's last day but he still made lots of time to speak to us. The children all asked sensible questions to find out about the Mayor's job, how the Local Council works and how it compares to our School Council. The children then went to the Mayor's parlour where they saw his robes, a photograph of when Queen Elizabeth visited the town hall and the book she signed.
