Actions Have Consequences Workshop
Post date: 14-Oct-2016 14:27:23
What a fantastic day we had on Monday this week. We were very lucky to be able to invite the police and the prison service into school to teach us all about actions having consequences. They taught us some very serious messages but in a fun and exciting way. We learnt about the dangers of making nuisance 999 calls, stranger danger, childline, the consequences of being involved in anti-social behaviour and bullying. We also got to meet some real police dogs.
This was the whole school assembly at the beginning of the day.
In this photograph, we are learning about the dangers of making nuisance 999 calls
The teachers didn't escape being pulled out to the front to do activities
We met the drugs dog
We learnt all about what to remember if you are approached by a stranger
This game was a revision game to see how much we could remember
The prison officer showed us how police dogs are used to catch criminals
We were given this plaque to award to one pupil every year
This certificate will be displayed in school
