In this elective, students will explore photography as a powerful form of creative expression and visual communication. They will learn how to compose, capture, and edit images using digital cameras and photo editing software. Students will study the work of practicing photographers and use these influences to inspire their own projects. Themes may include still life, architecture, animals, advertising, industry, and emotional expression. Emphasis is placed on developing technical skills, creative thinking, and the ability to evaluate and refine photographic work.

All photography equipment is provided by the College. Students may bring their own camera or device if preferred. An A3 folio or display folder is recommended.
