Panopto

Panopto is Smith's streaming media server used to host and share both class Zoom recordings and other non-Zoom videos. Panopto is integrated with Moodle, making it easy to share materials with your class. You can use Panopto without Moodle to share your videos with students. You'll find detailed instructions beneath each header.

I am using Moodle as my course home base and I want to utilize the Panopto block in Moodle to share videos with students:

This method utilizes the Panopto block in Moodle to post Zoom recordings automatically to your Moodle course page. Zoom recordings appear visible to students as soon as they have finished processing.

This method utilizes the + Add Resource feature in Moodle, allowing you to post individual videos as resources for specific topics as you see fit. You will connect your course to Panopto via the Panopto block in Moodle, then remove the block to return posting control to you.

I am using something other than Moodle as my course home base and I want to share Zoom class recordings with students:

Your Zoom class recordings will still be stored in Panopto and can be shared using other supported tools, such as Google Drive and Slack.
