Report 2018

2021: Entry will be via Fabian4 this year. No EOD. Fee has gone up to £8 to pay for that. Sandwiches and drinks in the marquee at the end. You don’t need covid test or jabs to race but if you want to join the marquee event at the end they will need to be able prove they’re double jabbed or have had a negative lateral flow test that morning. Those are the main Covid related safety measures I have put in place.

The route is partially marked and runners are requested not to take short cuts. The runners are also requested to follow the main tourist path (stone steps) up to the summit of Sugar Loaf to limit erosion. This race is suitable for road runners wanting to try fell racing although being run in the winter conditions can be harsh. Parking is at The Crown, Pantygelli. Car sharing is suggested to ease the strain on parking space. Please use the grass area at the rear to keep the main car park clear for pub customer.
