Race Route

New start and ascent (from 2017) to the lake (Llyn Y Fan Fach). It avoids the track of previous years. You now ascend on the Beacons way. Please bring full kit!
Registration/HQ at Llyn Y Fan car park.
Reg: 10-11:45am. Toilet hopefully available. 

From the start head off towards the Beacon Way. Ascend all the way to the grassy slopes towards Bannau Sir Gaer. Follow the path on the top of the escarpment all the way east over Picws Du then down and up to Fan Foel. From the cairn here head off down the north west slope (steep at first) and find the best line all the way back to the finish.
