Please note: This is NOT a race for beginners to fell running
This is a linear race, not a circuit. You have to arrange your own transport or cadge a lift on an adhoc basis on the day to get from the finish to start. The start is at Llanbedr village (NP8 1SR) and the finish is at the Rugby Club in Blaenavon.
Full Kit Requirements as per FRA ruling: waterproof whole body cover (with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves, map of the route, compass, whistle and emergency food. Any changes to this will be announced at registration. Otherwise please assume full kit. The end of March can be a very changeable time of year for weather - spring sunshine or snow - and often both on the same day! Come prepared.
Either leave your car at the finish and buddy up for a lift to the start or we will try to group people for lifts after the prize giving to collect cars. If you leave your vehicle at the start it's about 25 minutes from the finish to collect it.
Venue(s)
The start, registration and collection of pre-registered numbers and chip for timing is at Llanbedr Village Hall NP8 1SR.
The finish is at the Leisure Centre by the finish line in Blaenavon NP4 9HR.
Llanbedr village is tiny and the start is by the church. There is car parking in the village. Please be sensitive to local residents when choosing where to park.
Please use the above postcodes to locate the start/registration and finish.
