The 83rd Meeting of the Virginia Philosophical Association will take place October 28th-29th, 2022 at the University of Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia

Dear VPA Members and Participants,

Paper submission deadline: July 1, 2022. Extended to Friday, July 8, 2022 (Closed)

We welcome submissions in any area of philosophy from philosophers and graduate students. Papers should be no longer than 4,500 words. Please prepare the paper for blind review and include a brief abstract.

Email papers to Thom Provenzola, taprovenzola@ws.edu, with 'VPA Submission' in the subject line.

Commentators will be solicited from those whose papers are not selected, so please indicate in the body of the email if you would be willing to be a commenter, should your paper not be accepted. 

As in the past, our intention is to run the conference as a hybrid online/in-person event.

The in-person component will be held at University of Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia.

The conference will run from Friday afternoon, October 28, through Saturday lunchtime, October 29, 2022.

There is no conference fee or membership requirement, and Friday night's dinner will be provided by University of Lynchburg.
