Up to this point, our team has felt that we have stayed on topic and worked efficiently, however we had not yet seen a definite structure forming for our proposal that we were satisfied with. This week, we sat down and addressed this issue, with the mission of coming up with a plan to begin developing a more concrete, definitive structure for our project.
We used our first meeting of the week to lay out this plan and decide how we were going to accomplish it. The major tasks that we needed to get done were continue to perform even more research to build off of, to introduce and build off of our new structure given to us by Fabio, and to begin to split up work so that everyone had a topic that they focus on specifically and become experts on. When we do these things, we will have a structure to build off of and continually work on, making it much easier each week to complete our tasks.
After meeting, we were able, as a team, to accomplish doing this. We have seen this new structure develop, and it has already began helping us. We can now see our project forming around this, making it easier to not only work on continuously, but also to see the vision of our project and what we want our end goal to be.
Our project is now successfully split up by boat type, public transportation, taxi, and cargo, and then by boat design. We have built upon each of these subtopics, and built an introduction, background, and methodology, making us well on our way to continue to our next assignment.
