After weeks of preparation, our final presentation was given on Monday in front of Venetians, classmates, and our advisors. Our team believes that the presentation went very well. The slides were something which we had started weeks ago and built upon each week as we added more to our project. Throughout our weeks here we gathered did research, gathered data, spoke with Oreste and met each week with Gregorio, and all of this contributed to the development of our presentation. Through numerous iterations based on a lot of feedback from our advisors, we were able to reach a final product to present to our audience. This presentation went through each section of our project including the background, methodology, results, analysis, conclusions, recommendations, and five year plan.
At our final presentation, each member delivered a section of the project about reducing the overall moto ondoso in the city of Venice. We were sure to include many infographics and numbers so that everyone could follow the presentation along well and understand our objectives. The slides finished with an infographic of our final percentage reduction in moto ondoso so that this was clearly conveyed to the audience. A question and answer period followed, after which the crowd seemed satisfied with and intrigued by our efforts to save the structural integrity and safety of their city.
In the end, we are very satisfied with the outcome of our project. We have had a great learning experience here in Venice, and we are ready to return to WPI!
