Kearns Bridge

Tullahought is accesible by five seperate roads Tullahought Village is surrounded on the lower level by the Ahenny Little a tributary of the Lingaun River. Three of the roads into the village pass over it over bridges known locally as Knockeen Bridge, Kearns Bridge and the Mill Bridge close to where it joins the Lingaun River on its way to join the River Suir at the Three Bridges.

Kearns Bridge was cleaned up over the years to expose its mass concrete structure. In recent years it was refaced with stone and the area that served for generations to allow animals access to the water was cobbled to create an amenity area that was offically opened in conjunction with National Heritage Week 2009.
