This is not only past beast scriptures from other articles I've done, but a brand new section on how the beast was wounded and healed using scriptures from Jeremiah and Revelation & Revelation 13 and Daniel 7.
Most people who are preterists believe the beast was Nero or Titus. The problem with Nero is that he was dead before Rev
19:19 where the beast was getting ready to make war against God and his army. This also is a problem for Titus being the
beast because of the way that Rev 19:19 is worded. It says “ and I saw the beast (Israelites) and the kings of the earth and
their armies, gathered together to make war against him (Jesus) that sat on the horse, and against his army (Romans). Most
people will not argue that the man on the horse was Jesus, because Rev 19:11-16 leaves no doubt that it was Jesus on the
horse. Jesus army was the Romans, because his old bride had committed adultery, crucified him and killed his saints and
apostles and now he was using the Roman armies to destroy his old bride and their city. Knowing this when you read Rev
19:19 it is obvious the beast and his armies were on one side and Jesus and his armies (The Roman armies) were on the
other side. That means neither Nero nor Titus could have been the beast. In the next verse in Rev 19:20 the beast was taken
and with him the false prophet and they were cast alive into the lake of fire. Nero nor Titus were cast alive into the Lake of
Fire. Nero committed suicide years before the war and Titus died and was not cast alive into the lake of fire either. The
Israelites that rejected Christ were the ones that were in the lake of fire, which was the fires of Jerusalem burning in 70 A.D.
In the old testament and in the new Testament the prophets would prophecy to Kings false prophecies because they didn't
want to hear the truth. In verse 20, the false prophet was Israel. In the old testament the Gentiles were considered unclean
and beasts. In the new testament the Israelites that rejected Jesus and his new covenant he divorced and his new people
were the Gentiles and remnant of Jews that he spared. Now it was his old bride that had become the beast. Rev. 19 is the
beginning of the story of the wedding feast. God invites the fowls to gather unto the supper of the great God in verse 17 God
kills the remnant that rejected him, and the fowls were filled with their flesh, according to verse 21,. The remnant that
rejected Jesus wasn't Rome but Israel! In Rev. 19:17 the fowls were invited to the marriage feast or Great Supper of God.
This happened in 70 A.D. What's interesting is that they dined on the flesh of Kings, captains, and horses according to verse
18. If this were future, then they would not be dining on Kings. They would be dining on soldiers. Kings do not go to war
literally. They send their soldiers to war. There are hardly any kings left in the world today. They would also not be dining on
horses. because we have tanks and vehicles now. Remember futurists it can not be symbolic, because you believe that you
are suppose to take bible prophecy literally.
in Revelation 19 it says his name is the word of God. This is speaking of Jesus. Compare with In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 opens the larger section sometimes described as the "Prologue to John" (John 1:1-18) which deals with Jesus, the "Word made flesh" who "dwelt among us" (John 1:14).the man on the horse is also the lamb. This is obvious from chapter 19 in Revelation. Jesus is the Lamb. Jesus promised to return in the clouds which represented judgment. I will never doubt that Jesus was a rider on the horse. He told the high priest that they would see him coming in the clouds. He was the one to return in judgment. He did not come to bring peace but a sword. In Revelation a sword was coming out of the riders mouth.
Ecclesiastes 3:16-19
16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity
Before I get into The Beast of Revelation I want to show three places where the Isrealites are referred to beasts. 1st Corinthians 15:32 Here Paul calls the men of Ephesus beasts- “32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we die.”
In Titus 1:10-16, Jude 1-19, and 2nd Peter chapter 2 the Isrealites are spoken of very badly. They are referred to as Beasts. I will put these sciptures below if you do not want to read the whole thing. The word beast will be highlighted in the three places used in these scriptures.
Titus 1:10-16- 10 For there are many insubordinates, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. 15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
Jude 1-19- 1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,To those who are called, sanctified[a] by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God[b] and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about[c] by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
2nd Peter chapter 2 2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you14 Having eyes full of adultery, (remember Israel is the whore of Revelation that cheated on her husband God) and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
The Beast Out of the Sea REVELATION

Rev 13:2-4 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion (Below I have an article explaining what this symbolizes. I will say this, the Lords people was Israel and the Lord compared Himself to a lion, leopard, and a bear robbed of its cubs ( Hos 13:7-8), while likening His restored people to a lion’s cubs, birds, and doves (Hos 11:10-11).) And the dragon (Satan) gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4they worshiped the dragon (Satan) because he gave his authority to the beast; (Israel) and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?"
Rev 13:5-6 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months (3 ½ yrs the trib was from 66 ½ to 70 A.D exactly 3 ½ yrs. The first 3 ½ years was the 1st h half of Dan. 70th week, when Jesus preached the new covenant message until he was cut off in the mist of the week). 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. Rev 10- “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed[c] with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” In 12 whose fatal wound had been healed In 14- It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.
Jer 30:12-18, 22-24 GOD SPEAKING TO ISRAEL JEREMIAH
12 For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy,
