This image shows the valves installed in the head with new valve seals after I hand-lapped the intake and exhaust valves.

I replaced the original exhaust manifold with a German-spec manifold that doesn't have an EGR port. This manifold had many cracks and had to be MIG welded.

After welding the manifold, Rustoleum High Heat Paint (1200 ºF / 650 ºC) was sprayed onto the manifold to help protect the surfaces from corrosion.
