18 - 22 March 2010 (Host)

This year the squadron hosted the first stage of the cadet exchange program. We welcomed army cadets from 2898 RC (Army) CC Ste-Marie de Beauce, Quebec.

During the three days of activities both units were able to visit local and not so local places of interest. On the 19th both units meet at the LHQ (West Middlesex Arena) and visited Diamond Aircraft in London, the RCR Museum and the Jet Museum with lunch at 427 Wing. That evening was bowling and supper at Palasad Bowling in London. The next day we traveled by bus to Hamilton to visit the Air Museum and then to Niagara Falls for a visit. On the last day of the exchange both units had a pancake breakfast at the McLachlan's Maple Syrup and Pancake House followed by a shopping visit at White Oaks Mall in London. That evening there was a Mess Dinner and Meet-and-Greet at the Strathroy Legion. The 2898 Corp cadets enjoyed their visit and some were able to practice their English. The exchange was a success.

11 - 15 March 2011 (Visit)

This year the squadron participated in an Interprovincial Exchange with the Corps de Cadets de Ia Marine Royale Canadienne Waterloo (291). We were able to go and visit them in Jouvence, Quebec.

On Friday we traveled 12 hours on our way to Quebec. We arrived at Jouvence and had dinner, and then we went on a hike to a cabin where we had a bonfire and some marshmallows. On Saturday morning we were joined with the Sea Cadets from Waterloo. We had two days filled with activities such as sled building, learning to walk on stilts, racing on snow shoes, and an obstacle course. On Monday we went into Montreal with a staff member from Jouvence that took us on a walking tour through Old Montreal, under the city through the tunnels and then we were able to go shopping in the underground stores. Everyone enjoyed the trip to Quebec where were able to practice our French and get to know the cadets from Waterloo.
