Strathroy Air Cadet Receives Wings

Strathroy, Ont. Flight Sergeant Dewsnap , from 3 Striker Squadron, received his Air Cadet Power Pilot Wings on August 16 after successfully completing the 7 week Power Pilot Scholarship and obtaining his Transport Canada Private Pilot Licence. 77 Royal Canadian Air Cadets from across Ontario received their power pilot wings at the graduation parade held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton.

The Air Cadet program emphasizes leadership, team work, fitness and friendship. If you are between 12-18 years of age, have an interest in aviation, survival skills, rockets, community service, want to learn to fly or just make new friends come out on a parade night and talk to the Officers and cadets. 3 Striker Squadron parades Tuesdays starting September 3 from 6:30 PM to 9 PM at the West Middlesex Memorial Arena, Strathroy. 

The Commanding Officer, staff, Sponsoring Committee and cadets of 3 Striker invite all interested youth to drop in and see what Air Cadets is all about.
