It's a new year. And all around us, people are setting goals and making resolutions. We often do this as a symbolic gesture toward the new beginning of something; but, are you going about it all wrong? I have been a goal setter all my life and yet goal setting has frequently been my biggest source of frustration.
I read a blog by beach player April Ross and I think she is spot on in her observations of accepting challenges as opportunities. Her biggest ah-ha moment was the discovery that she had always attached her goals to some outcome instead of being process-oriented.
