SCOH Instructor Academy
The continued growth and health of the soaring club depends strongly on having plenty of instructors in order to deal with the training of new students and to service pilots in need of currency training, new ratings, various checkouts, Flight reviews, etc. Recently, we kicked off a drive to significantly grow the pool of instructors. We have more than five enthusiastic instructor-students who have agreed to join together in a group instructor-training extravaganza that we have dubbed the "Instructor Academy". This group approach should make it more fun than slogging away strictly on our own, and will allow us to keep each other motivated so that we can get this done fairly quickly.
