Replay Files

Viewing a perfectly (or nearly perfectly) performed maneuver is a vital first step towards understanding what you are supposed to do as you learn how to maneuver a sailplane. Follow these instructions on how to view pre-made "Replay" files.

1. You MUST upgrade (free if you already bought Condor) to the latest version of Condor, 1.1.5. To see what version that you have now, start the Condor program on your PC. The version number is at the top of the Condor pop-up window. To upgrade, go HERE, read through the directions and determine which file(s) that you need to download.

2. As a matter of convenience, you can find all the "replay" files in this Google drive folder

3. Move the "replay files (they have a suffix of .rpy) into the following folder on your PC.

C: > Program Files (x86) > Condor > Replays

4. In the opening window of Condor, select "View Replay".

5. Choose a replay file.

6. Select "View"

See SCOH's "Flight Sequence" to follow our suggested order of lessons.

Changing Viewing Perspective

Choosing different viewpoint will improve your understanding of what is happening whether you are watching a replay file or flying a maneuver yourself in Condor.

While watching a replay file, you need to turn the Replay camera to OFF in order to change perspective:

1. While watching a Replay File, select F9 to turn the Replay Camera to OFF. You will see the status at the bottom right of the screen.

2. Change the perspective. A few examples are shown here:

F1 Cockpit

F2 External Glider

F3 Chase
