Flight Plan Files

Flight Plan files (.fpl) are used to set parameters that include the airport, terrain, time of day, weather, the glider model and launching details. These files make it easy to start a lesson with the right set of conditions. Follow these instructions to put pre-made "Flight Plan" files into your version of Condor on your PC.

1. You MUST upgrade (free if you already bought Condor) to the latest version of Condor, 1.1.5. To see what version that you have now, start the Condor program on your PC. The version number is at the top of the Condor pop-up window. To upgrade, go HERE, read through the directions and determine which file(s) that you need to download.

2. As a matter of convenience, you can find all the "flightplan" files in this Google drive folder

3. Move the "flight plan" files (they have a suffix of .fpl) into the following folder on your PC.

C: > Program Files (x86) > Condor > FlightPlans > User

4. Start the Condor program, if not already.

5. Select "Free Flight"

6. Select "Load"

7. Select the tab called "User flightplans"

8. Select the flight plan as required for the maneuver that you want to practice. See SCOH's "Flight Sequence" to follow our suggested order of lessons.
