Sporadically visited by the Shannon Group, Sligo nonetheless contains some of Ireland's most impressive caves, including the 50m daylight pitch of Barton's Hole, Irelands largest cave entrance at Dermot and Grainne's Cave, and some of Ireland's deepest caves in Geevagh.
