Welcome back!

During this class we did a revision of last year's topics:

• smaraNam and lekhanam of svarAh, vyanjanAni and guNitAksharANi
• we had a quiz to revise smaraNam, anuvAdanam and lekhanam of simple words like (rabbit, medal, word etc)
• we revised sambhAshaNam where the kids recollected and narrated the kAkasya kathA
• we also revised our paThanam abilities by reading the story of jnAna phalam (Ganesha and KArtikeya's race around the world)

We had a revision (स्मरणम्) of the following topics

• We practiced भाषणम् through स्वपरिचयः in 3 sentences
• We practiced लेखनम् by writing words on board starting with स्वराः between अ - ऋ
• We practiced numbers from 1-100
• We practiced वासराः and दिनम् (अद्य/श्वः/ह्यः etc)
• We practiced बहु वचनम् forms of नामपदानि in all लिङ्गाः
• We practiced भाषणम् through a quiz with क्रियापदानि. The kids were to guess an action, give the related क्रियापदम् in प्रथम पुरुष एक and बहु वचनम्. Build वाक्यानि involving a नामपदम् (in the right वचनम् ) for that क्रियापदम्. Build a वाक्यम् involving उत्तम पुरुष form of the क्रियापदम्.
• We worked on पठनम् and श्रवणम् by reading briefly from सचित्रमहाभारत पुस्तकम्
• Lastly, we recited the शान्ति मन्त्र असतोमा सद्गमय - we will learn the meaning of this during next class.
