This weekend we covered the following topics:

• We had a conversation in Sanskrit on what the kids do during NavarAtri. The words worth noting are:
  • पर्वः - festival
  • पाञ्चालिका - doll
  • देवालयम् - temple
  • मधुर खाद्यम् - sweets
  • मित्रस्य गृहम् - friend's house
  • रोटिका - roti
• We then had a quick quiz on kriyApadAni. The kids picked up chits and translated the kriyAdapam to Sanskrit
• We learned विशेषणानि
• We practiced samyuktAksharANi after learning the 2 common forms:
  • ग् + य् +अ = ग्य Ex : आरोग्यम्
  • ह् +य् +अ = ह्य Ex : ह्यः
  • द् +य् +अ = द्य Ex : विद्या
• We learned the meaning of asatomA sadgamaya

This weekend we covered the following topics:

• We revised विशेषणानि
• We revised क्रियापदानि
• We revised लिङ्गभेदः , सर्वनामपदानि through a game and constructed simple sentences Ex: सः स्यूताः, एताः अङ्कन्यः . The नामपदानि we used during this exercise all included samyuktAksharANi.
• We read sections from सचित्र महाभारत
• We learned saha nA vavatu. We will learn its meaning during the next class.
