Resume as a Teacher

Resume for Ron Beatty as a teacher.

e-mail: RSBeatty@gmail.com

My only "true" teaching experience was as an undergrad when I taught COGO to a professional seminar at MIT. One attendee was so impressed that he gave me an unsolicited letter of reference - which indicates my wealth of unused teaching talent.

I have fun with an audience, and they enjoy my song & dance.

My command of the English language and of computer geek speak are superlative.

I am a very effective public speaker and enjoy making presentations and teaching.

My preparation and delivery insure attentiveness and audience participation.

The ideal teaching job for me would be teaching Google to any audience.

I can also teach math or science or genealogy subjects to any group of highly motivated individuals. I can be an enthusiastic and dynamic speaker on several subjects which helps to motivate promising students. While I do not have a teaching certificate or substantial experience, I am willing to pursue those if required to continue employment.

My alma mater is MIT, which granted me an SB in theoretical mathematics in 1970.

My twenty years of professional computer experience includes work as a computer programmer, applications programmer, systems programmer, systems analyst, and rapid prototyping systems developer. Here is a link to my six-page, detailed resume covering my 35-year computer career. My recent favorites are UNIX, JAVA, and Unified Modeling Language (UML) although I still like C and C++. Yes, I do Windows and build websites.
