2014 RRCSOP
The 5th year of the ever popular Ronin Ryder Cup Series of Poker returned to the home of the World Series of Poker, Binions Hotel and Casino.
Players start with $5000 in chips, $25/$50 blinds, no antes. Blinds raised every 15 minutes. The tournament would pay out the top five positions. Closest to the pin winners were awarded an extra $1000 to start.
23 hopeful players entered this years tournament. Les, last year's winner, was not here this year to defend his title.
The 1st player eliminated and newest member to be enshrined in the RRCSOP Hall of Shame is rookie Steve. It was not certain if he knew the first one out was NOT the winner.
There was no clear chip leader for the first hour or so. Lots of chatter and challenges. About two hours after the start, the final table was established:
Seat 10: Wyman
Seat 9: Lincoln
Seat 8: DT
Seat 7: Eric
Seat 6: Irvin
Seat 5: Lenny
Seat 4: Gary
Seat 3: Mitch
Seat 2: Danny
Seat 1: Stan K
Mitch was able to build up a huge stack and dominated the final table. On the final hand, he beat out Wyman's A4 with a 98.
Mitch became the first player to win multiple RRCSOP tournaments. Congratulations!
