21st Season of Ronin Ryder Cup

Hi all,

We are about 30 days away from this year’s event. The teams for this year are set. For those of you who made the draft last Friday night, you know that Rob Chang and James Seto will lead their teams into this year’s event.

If you want a recap and you have access to Facebook, you can watch the selection show in the three videos that are posted on Ron Incup’s account. All you need to do is friend Ron Incup and you can have access to the video to see how the draft turned out live. The three videos cover the Captain selections, the A Flight split and the B Flight split.

We will be sharing the first day’s pairings in the near future. I have a message to Captain Rob and James to coordinate how that will be done. Just know that all first year players will be playing with their sponsor on Day 1.

Note to all: You will only need to bring the white and blue golf shirts as you will be receiving the third colored shirt (gray) when you arrive in Las Vegas. First year players, please contact your sponsor on the approximate color of a blue shirt.

Hopefully, everyone has made their hotel arrangements by now.

I hope to share the 2018 Ronin Cup Rules and event itinerary shortly with specific details. I still have a few open items that need to be addressed. However, the lunch arrangements are set with Day 1 at the Garden Buffet and Day 2 at the Triple 7 Brewery, both at the Main Street Casino after the rounds.

The 2^nd annual Grandma Toda Memorial Slot Tournament will be conducted on Saturday night. Invited guests & family members are welcomed to participate and you should try to identify them now to ensure we have a spot for them. Slots are limited dependent on session availability.

All Ronin Cup players (except those not quite 21 yet) are already registered participants, but declinations will be grudgingly accepted. Substitutes for Ronin Cup players are allowed if identified prior to the event.
