Duncan Larkin

Duncan Larkin was born in London on 14th June 1959 and started his radio career at Radio Thamesmead In London. Prior to joining Radio Aire, he had moved to Italy in 1986 to present on Riviera 104, then to Sunshine Radio in France.

He joined Radio Aire in 1989, presenting the Late Show (Duncan Under the Duvet) on weekends and in James Whales absence. He also had a phone-in section to his show. After the Superstation took over the late night schedule in 1990, he briefly presented Saturday Evenings until he left the station later in the year.

From 1991 to 1993, Duncan was programme director of Riviera Radio in Monte Carlo, Monaco. During this time, he also worked in television for France Telecom and on Super Channel (now NBC Europe) in London. He also presented the International Television Festival in Monaco.

In September 1993, he moved to Blue Danube Radio in Vienna, Austria. After the station was rebranded to FM4, he presented the morning show and also presented on Radio Caroline South in Seborga, Italy.

Duncan sadly passed away on 21 September 2008 after a long illness with Cancer and Heart Disease, aged just 49.
