Radio Aire 2001 - 2015

In 2001 the station name reverted back to Radio Aire. Within a few months, a fresh new jingle package was introduced, produced by Reelworld, together with new voice overs and power-plays (songs with station branded intros). Subsequent jingle packages were produced by Wise Buddah.

Breakfast presenters during the early 2000's included Simon Logan (with Katy Kaboom / Imogen Lamb / Rich Williams), David 'Ditchy' Ditchfield (with Imogen Lamb) and Cameron & Jamie.

Other presenters at the time were Glenn Pinder (who later moved over to Magic 828), Simon 'Rossie' Ross, Steve Buck, Simon James & Hill, Ingrid Hagemann, Tony Wrighton, Matt Wilkins, Alex Pepper and Liz Whitaker. Overnights and weekends were presented by Paul Foster, Dan Wood, Matt Foister, Katy Kaboom, Lex Nichol and Buckley Boland.

Some networked shows were broadcast on a weekend, including the Smash Hits Chart with Darren Proctor, Smash Hits Buzz with Jo Good, Friday Night Kiss with Bam Bam, The Smirnoff Experience with Tall Paul and the Pepsi Chart with Neil Fox.

There was also a weekly show broadcast live from the White Rose Centre every Sunday afternoon. This was presented by Katy Kaboom and later Matt Wilkins.

Full Leeds United coverage was also broadcast and presented by John Bradley.
