What Kind of Resources were Provided and Needed to Attend QTUG during the term of the NSF grant award?
Students selected for the conference were assisted in meeting needed costs, which included partial transportation, dorm lodging during the training and APA meetings, an evening banquet, and APA registration. Participants stayed for the QTUG conference (arriving Sunday evening) and for the APA conference.
Participants were expected to bear costs of ordinary food and incidentals. Emphasis at APA was on Division 5 programs and events.
QTUG 2011 and 2012 were also held precedent to the APA convention in Washington, DC and Orlando, FL respectively.
These two conferences were primarily operated on NSF no-cost extensions.
Plans are under consideration for a possible QTUG 2013
