A. Nayena Blankson, Ph.D.

A. Nayena Blankson, Ph.D. received her BA (with highest honors) in psychology with a minor in mathematical sciences from Loyola College in Maryland (1997-2001). After receiving her BA, she completed her Master’s and Ph.D. in quantitative psychology at the University of Southern California (2001-2006), where she worked with the late Dr. John L. Horn as well as Dr. Rand Wilcox. Dr. Blankson is currently a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Family Research Center at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her substantive research interests include the organization and development of cognitive abilities as it relates to personality, parenting, and schooling. She is also interested in quantitative methods and topics including measurement invariance, multivariate mathematical/statistical methods, and structural equation modeling.
