Galaxy
Introduction
I have made a fair number of concepts for Galaxy variants.
Galaxy:
Pilot able to set a waypoint to show where the Galaxy will be heading. Name appears over the Galaxy under the pilots name.
Pilot also able to set a time until take off, displayed also to encourage people to load.
Galaxies have powerful lights added to the bottom to illuminate drop zones (I spoke to T-Ray about this, apparently the engine back then wouldn't handle bright lights properly).
Equipment terminals re-added as an option.
Vehicle rearm terminal added as an option. Models in the game files, but never implemented.
AMS function returned but can only be used by squad and perhaps platoon members to restrict its effectiveness. Can be used on the move until the Galaxy is full.
Deployment shields returned to the wings as a defensive option.
Defensive option - AWAC Radar - provides all players in the area with faster lock on times and positions of enemy vehicles and MAX units.
Galaxy vehicle transport - infantry transport removed and replaced with the ability to latch onto ground vehicles and drop them off.
Can be spawned equipped with a variety of new equipment that can be dropped:
Supply crate - deploys to proved a vehicle rearm and infantry equipment terminal.
Flash/Harasser terminal.
Aspis AA turret

Xiphos AI turret
