Shrine of Taurus

The Shrine of Taurus is located on the east wall of the temple colonnade, next to the Shrine of Gemini. The entrance to the Main Sanctuary of the Temple of Isis is situated in this part of the colonnade, so this area is sometimes referred to as "The Nave." Olivia writes that the zodiac shrines are corresponded to rites found in the FOI liturgy book "Sophia, Cosmic Consciousness of the Goddess." The ritual "Mystical Awakening of Taurus and Isis" from "Sophia" is associated with this shrine. Olivia writes that this altar is dedicated to divine twins, including Artemis and Apollo, Shu and Tefnut and Isis and Osiris.

The Shrine of Taurus honors Native American Deities.

A painting of the Goddess Maya is central to this shrine.
