Shrine of Aries
The Shrine of Aries is located on the east wall of the temple colonnade, near the Shrine of Taurus. The Shrine of Aries and the Shrine of Taurus are opposite the entry to the Main Sanctuary of the Temple of Isis. This part of the colonnade is sometimes referred to as "The Nave." Olivia writes that the zodiac shrines are corresponded to rites found in the FOI liturgy book "Sophia, Cosmic Consciousness of the Goddess." The ritual "Mystical Awakening of Aries and Durga" from "Sophia" is associated with this shrine. A beautiful statue of Bast, carved by David Durdin-Robertson is central to this shrine.
