Pawnee Amateur Radio Club

March 8, 2016

The Pawnee Amateur Radio Club held a meeting March 8th, 2016 at the Emergency Operations Center in Columbus Nebraska. Club president, Dave AC0TF, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Club secretary Adam KD0RIZ read the minutes of the February meeting. Club Treasurer, Ted K7CLP, gave a treasury report as of 3/8/2016 with no outstanding bills for the month. The treasurer report was approved as read.

Old Business

440 repeater - Ted K7CLP had no issues to report. Confirmed by Larry WA0QCI. Adam KD0RIZ will remove the insulation next time at the site.

Bill Kucera - Ted K7CLP is still working through some of his estate.

IRLP - Internet Radio Linking Project - Gene KD0OBA and Ted K7CLP gave a talk about how this is similar to D-Star only it is all analog. You can link and unlink repeaters. There is an IRLP net on Sunday evenings at 8:30pm. There was talk about using our 440 repeater for linking.

New Business

North Bend Flee Market - Chris AC0DN brought up the upcoming flee market in North Bend. Some discussion around the club having a table at the event. Further discussion can be had at the April club meeting.

Loop D Loup - Dave AC0TF brought up that this bike ride is coming up June 18th. The route will be the same as last year.

Columbus Days Field Day - coming August 20th. Club talked about having it earlier in the day to avoid other contests going on. We should also look into what other contests are going on that day. More discussion needed at the April meeting to discuss location. We talked about outside the court house instead of Pawnee Park.

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Adam KD0RIZ and seconded by Chris AC0DN . Motion carried.
