Old Business

440 repeater - Not working - Adam and Ted looked it over. Power supply seems to be bad. Fuses all looked good. Might just use the new 440 repeater for the IRLP.

IRLP - Internet Radio Linking Project - York tower owner is Mark KG0S. AC0DN contacted KG0S and he was interested in placing his IRLP node at Columbus (currently set to 444.725 which will not work in Columbus, it can be retuned). Would need to provide Internet access at the site or an Internet RF link. AC0DN has contacted tower owner Rob Nall. – Waiting to hear back from the 440 repeater owner. WindStream is willing to run fiber to the tower site.

Columbus Days Special Event Station - August 20th. Plan to run from 10am to 1pm. Location will be Pawnee Park like last year. Adam KD0RIZ and Gene KD0OBA will plan to set up a DStar station at the same location. Talked about how to log contacts. (Logbook of the World) – Ted gave an update. The club will be covered under the EM insurance as last year so we are good to go. A checklist spreadsheet will be shared out via email to the club members to see what you are responsible for bringing.

Noise on 640 repeater has been noted, will need to investigate. Still exists as of August meeting. Tim N0RHM and Chris AC0DN will check it out.

New Business

Larry KA0TWD mentioned a year end club dinner. Take a vote on it on the September meeting.

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Adam KD0RIZ and seconded by Ted K7CLP. Motion carried.
