2017-04 Minutes

April 11, 2017

The Pawnee Amateur Radio Club held a meeting April 11th, 2017 at the Emergency Operations Center in Columbus Nebraska. Club president, Dave AC0TF, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Gene KD0OBA reported that March minutes were not available. Club Treasurer, Ted K7CLP, gave a treasury report as of 4/11/2017 with no outstanding bills for the month. The treasurer report was approved as read.

Old Business

IRLP - Internet Radio Linking Project - On hold for now.

DStar Tower Site – a temporary internet connection is in place. WA0COL is back online. Cameras are also back online.

64 Repeater - Club would like to get the old antenna out of the attic and setup in a temporary location for testing. If it is determined that the old antenna is OK, we will need to coordinate the replacement.

Roger WB0GOB is recovering at Mory's Haven.

New Business

Loup-d-Loup Bike Ride - June 10th. Ride starts at 8:00am Starting point is Izaak Walton cabin. Information: http://www.loupdloup.com/

Nebraska 150 year QSO celebration. No one reported making contact during the event period.

Field Day June 24-25th invitation from WD0AAH to attend at his QTH.

Columbus Days Special Event Station - Saturday, August 19th.

With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Chris AC0DN seconded by LaRonda KE0AUP. Motion carried.
