Bruker NMR Experiment Time Signing and Usage Guidelines

A. Laboratory Reservation (Daytime)

• Reservations open on the evening of the previous day:

  • A525: 17:30

  • B662: 17:35

• Users who fail to make a reservation may sign up before 12:00 noon on the following day. No sign-up is allowed after 12:00.

• Each laboratory reservation slot is 30 minutes:

  • A525: 1 reservation slot

  • B662: 2 reservation slots

• Reserved users must arrive on time. Users arriving more than 5 minutes late will forfeit their reservation priority.

• Unreserved time slots are considered Free Time. Certified users may use the instrument for 15 minutes. If no one is waiting, they may continue using the instrument.

B. Individual Long-Time Reservation

First Round

Every Monday:

• A525: 17:30

• B662: 17:35

Each laboratory may reserve one individual long-time experiment time slot.

Second Round

Every Monday at 18:00

• Remaining time slots are open for reservation.

• Different users from the same laboratory may reserve multiple long-time experiment time slots.

Long-Time Experiment Time Slots

B662

• Morning Session A: 08:00–10:00

• Morning Session B: 10:00–13:00

• Night Session: 22:00–08:00 (next day)

The night session may be extended until 10:00, provided that the 08:00–10:00 time slot has not been reserved.

A525

• Night Session: 22:00–09:00 (next day)

Unreserved Time Slots

• After the first and second rounds, any remaining time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Users who have not reserved any long-time experiment during the current week (Tuesday to the following Monday) may reserve available time slots at any time, in addition to the Monday reservation period.

• Users who have already reserved a long-time experiment but require additional time must reserve any remaining available time slots on the previous evening or the same evening.

C. Free Time

Free Time refers to:

• Time slots with no laboratory reservation, or

• Reserved users who fail to arrive within 5 minutes of the reserved starting time.

During Free Time:

• Each certified user may use the instrument for up to 15 minutes per session (including sample removal and account logout).

• If no other users are waiting, the user may continue using the instrument.

• Once another user arrives, the current user must immediately stop the measurement and release the instrument.

• Continuous use is limited to 15-minute intervals (counted from login). Users may not reset the usage time by leaving briefly (leaving for less than 5 minutes does not reset the time limit).

• In the event of any dispute, please retain relevant evidence and report the matter to the instrument manager. Please avoid arguments on site.

A. 日間實驗室開放時段

前一天傍晚開放預約：

• A525：17:30

• B662：17:35

未預約者可於隔日中午 12:00 前補簽；逾時不得補簽。

每個實驗室時段 30 分鐘：

• A525：1 個時段

• B662：2 個時段

預約者須準時到場，遲到超過 5 分鐘即喪失優先權。

未預約時段為自由時間，通過考試者可使用 15 分鐘；若無人等候，可繼續使用。

B. 個人長時間實驗

第一輪

• 每週一

  • A525：17:30

  • B662：17:35

• 每個實驗室限登記 1 個個人長時間實驗時段。

第二輪

• 每週一 18:00

• 開放剩餘時段。

• 同一實驗室可由不同使用者登記多個長時間時段。

長時間實驗時段

• B662

  • 上午 A：08:00 – 10:00

  • 上午 B：10:00 – 13:00

  • 夜間：22:00 – 翌日 08:00

  • 夜間實驗最長可延至 10:00，但 08:00–10:00 必須無人預約。

• A525

  • 夜間：22:00 – 翌日 09:00

空白時段

• 第一輪、第二輪結束後，空白時段採先到先登記、先到先使用。

• 本週（週二至次週一）尚未預約者，除週一輪簽外，亦可於其他時間登記空白時段。

• 已預約者若仍有長時間實驗需求，須於前一天或當天傍晚再登記剩餘空白時段。

C. 自由時間

自由時間為：

• 無實驗室預約，或

• 預約者於 5 分鐘內未到場。

每位使用者每次限使用 15 分鐘（含取樣、登出）。

若無其他使用者等候，可持續使用。

一旦有其他使用者到場，應立即停止測量並讓出儀器。

連續使用時間以 15 分鐘為一單位，不得藉由短暫離開（5 分鐘內）重新計時。

如有爭議，請保留證據並向管理人員反映，避免現場爭執。
