Can I use this dropper post together with a seat bag for Bikepacking touring?
I do know of folks that have used seat bags with droppers. If running this setup you will need to be sure the stanchion surface is adequately protected as rubbing/friction in excess of normal use can cause wear to the stanchion and effect performance and longevity of the post.
Q: What kind of air pump is needed to achieve >200psi?
A high pressure shock pump is recommended. There are a number of different kinds available ranging from about $25 up. I recommend purchasing one that has a 2 stage release such as the Topeak Pocketshock pump. This is only an example, not an endorsement.

Amount of exposed seatpost at my full extension: 171mm (6.75") (8" inserted; 203mm)
Seatpost completely pushed down, amount exposed: 3.5" (89mm) (thus, 3.25" up/down movement)
Steel frames use a 31.8mm seatpost clamp. Your frame requires 100mm/4” of seat post in the frame. Any more than that can be cut off to save weight and make it possible to lower the seat more.

Lever
All Jones H-Bars use a 31.8mm stem clamp diameter, 22.2mm clamp size for controls (standard mountain bike style). The entire front loop has a 22.2mm diameter.
