I have a Subaru Outback and a tent trailer. Here is my rooftop set up that can carry two Jones bikes and two kayaks all at the same time: Yakima 58" crossbars (x2); Yakima Raptor Aero bike mounts (x2); Sea-to-Summit Stretch-Loc TPU Straps 15" (x4); Big Stack kayak stacker (x2). The Raptor tire straps aren't big enough to go around 3" wide tires, but the Sea-to-Summit straps work great. I have no trouble lifting the bikes up there, but my wife wouldn't be able to do it. Depending on your height, you may want a folding step-stool or one of these: Rightline Gear Moki Door Step.
