Activity: Kavalactones increase the activity of GABA, Kavain inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine.
Use: The kava root is ground and drunk as a thick tea. Often kava is used ceremonially or for social gathering where it is said to decrease society anxiety, and give insight.
