The Sowing the Seeds of Neuroscience Project sponsored a teacher workshop August 12-16, 2013 at the University of Washington.

The Neuroseeds Summer 2013 Teacher Workshop is part of a research study based on newly developed science curriculum enhancement lessons and activities related to neuroscience. Project staff and field experts guide teachers through teaching labs, class discussions and related field experiences.

    • Teachers who attended the entire workshop received a stipend and are eligible to check out a Neuroseeds kit for 12 weeks for use in their classroom. The kits contain all the equipment, supplies and lesson plans necessary to implement our lab activities.Labs and supplies for 8 lessons:Introduction to Neuroscience
