JAN 24 is last day for late work!

Jan 6 & 7: In class we completed the Inquiry Lesson Folder groups. For Homework In packet pages 3-5 read the two page letter from Ho Chi Minh to President Truman, outline main points - one for each paragraph = 9 lines

Jan 8 & 9: In class we read second article in the Packet, Ho Chi Minh: “Father of Vietnam”. Create a “T” chart that on one side records anything that suggests he is a communist and on the other side anything that indicates he is a nationalist (this was done as a warm-up) . For class today we worked on the Vietnam History PPT lecture. See attached or in OneNote. Tonight: Read the textbook page 868-870; note the events of the war in Vietnam.

Jan 10 &13: In class we reviewed the Vietnam Powerpoint History Lecture. Homework Read the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution in the packet page 6 and read HCM Letter to US Pres. Johnson packet 9-10. Then write your choice:

OPTION 1: Answer these questions: What was the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution and why was it issued? Copy two meaningful quotes from the letter from Ho Chi Minh to President Johnson. Explain what Ho Chi Minh was saying and why was he saying it.

OPTION 2: Write 2 multiple choice questions, one for each document.

Jan 14-17: NO SCHOOL--SNOW

Jan 23 & 24 today we watched a clip from The Fog of War on the perspectives of the war. We reviewed for the final exam.
