Elodie Levy
Position
I am currently a PhD student under the supervision of Sebastien Bouret at the Motivation, Brain and Behavior Team at the Brain & Spine Institute (ICM).
Current Project
The aim of my PhD project is to underlying neurophysiological processes involved into engagement and value based decision making across the ventro-Medial PreFrontal Cortex. I try to better understand the dynamic relation between evaluation, engagement, choices and VMPFC neural activity.
Here we used an electrophysiological appoach to records single neuron activity in non-human primate during a behavioral task « sequencial cost-benefit choice » involving sequences of actions, throughout the goal value are able to change under Cost and Benefit factors. This task enables us to dissociate the influence of expected value upon engagement from its influence on choices.
