Applications in Neurology
To investigate motivational processes in neurological patients, we
develop computerized behavioral tasks that target the process of interest
adapt computerized task to bedside examination
measure behavioral responses in neurological patients and healthy controls
use computational models to infer patients’ elementary deficit of motivation
use multimodal neuroimaging techniques to make a one to one mapping between specific neural components and distinct processes of decision models
assess the diagnostic and prognostic values of computational variables
We are currently interested in several neurological conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, etc.
