Applications in Neurology

To investigate motivational processes in neurological patients, we

  • develop computerized behavioral tasks that target the process of interest

  • adapt computerized task to bedside examination

  • measure behavioral responses in neurological patients and healthy controls

  • use computational models to infer patients’ elementary deficit of motivation

  • use multimodal neuroimaging techniques to make a one to one mapping between specific neural components and distinct processes of decision models

  • assess the diagnostic and prognostic values of computational variables

We are currently interested in several neurological conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, etc.
