The Blue-Action project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 727852.

My research activities from 2017 to 2021 included a role in the Blue Action project with the University of Lapland where I was Affiliated Senior Researcher.

The aim of the project is to "provide fundamental and empirically-grounded, executable science that quantifies and explains the role of a changing Arctic in increasing predictive capability of weather and climate of the Northern Hemisphere."
